Who are you?
Therapy starts with the question of who you are, beneath the exhaustion and the overwhelm.
I work with women in the seasons where the old patterns stop working.
Major life transitions. Strained relationships. The growing sense that something needs to shift but isn’t yet clear.
My work is rooted in curiosity, not the clinical kind, but the human kind.
The willingness to slow down with you and ask the questions that haven’t been asked yet.
What I create in session is space.
Space to think out loud, without performance or fear of judgment.
Space to examine the assumptions that have been driving your choices.
Space to find out what you want, which often looks different from what you’ve been pursuing or allowing.
I meet you where you are, not where a manual says you should be.
Some weeks that means structure and reflection. Other weeks, it means sitting with what’s hard until there’s clarity.
Most of the time, it’s both.
Each conversation is shaped around where you are, so the work fits your life instead of the other way around.
I also work with children and teens, especially girls.
Young people are often carrying more than they can put into words, and it tends to come out sideways, in mood, in friendships, in the withdrawal a parent can feel but can’t quite name.
I meet them at their own pace, without forcing eye contact or deep talk before they’re ready. I bring parents into the work when it helps.
The aim is for a young person to feel safe in her own experience and build the words and tools to move through it.
A steadier relationship with yourself, over time.
Clients often describe, over time, a steadier relationship with themselves.
Not the absence of difficulty, but a way of meeting it with more clarity, honesty, and trust in their own instincts and decisions.
A grounding in both behavioral and reflective work.
I’m a Clinical Intern at purepsych, completing my master’s degree in counseling at Seton Hall University under licensed clinical supervision.
I’m also a Behavior Change Specialist and a certified Health Counselor, with training in both behavioral and reflective approaches.
If something here resonates, there’s a reason for that.
You don’t have to keep managing it on your own or wait until you have it all figured out to begin.
